But I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised of the people.

For Christ also pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me.

even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

For which is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am in the midst of you as he that serveth.

then hath he said, Lo, I am come to do thy will. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

Jesus therefore perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force, to make him king, withdrew again into the mountain himself alone.

I receive not glory from men.

Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended in him.

And it came to pass, as he sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Teacher with the publicans and sinners?

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John would have hindered him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David; to enrol himself with Mary, who was betrothed to him, being great with child. Then he poureth water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth; and he was subject unto them: and his mother kept all these'sayings in her heart.
