where as forerunner for us Jesus entered, having become a highpriest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek.

Since, then, we have a great highpriest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

But now he hath obtained a more excellent ministry, in proportion as he is the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been established upon better promises.

as also he saith in another place, "Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek."
