Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;

and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,

We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

Who has believed our message? To whom has the arm of Yahweh been revealed? For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form nor comeliness. You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.

For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before me," says the Lord Yahweh.

How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?

Even as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness." Know therefore that those who are of faith, the same are children of Abraham. So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree," that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn't he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, since indeed there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith.

For it isn't the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

For the Lord Yahweh will help me; therefore I have not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be disappointed. He is near who justifies me; who will bring charges against me? Let us stand up together: who is my adversary? Let him come near to me.

Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies.

He who says to the wicked, "You are righteous;" peoples shall curse him, and nations shall abhor him --

He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to Yahweh.

Woe to those who are mighty to drink wine, and champions at mixing strong drink; who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice for the innocent!

The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they scoffed at him. He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

The man said, "The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse.

Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.
