and the kings of the earth, and the princes, and the generals, the rich and the mighty, both slaves and freemen, every one of them hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. Then the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain, and showed all the kingdoms of the earth and the glory of them, and said to him, "All these will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me." "Begone, Satan!" answered Jesus, for it is written, "Thou must worship the Lord thy God, and Him only must thou serve."
And the devil led him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in an instant of time, and the devil said to him. "To you will I give all this authority and this glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. "If then you will worship me, it shall all be yours."read more.

And so God has given life to you Gentiles also, who were once dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you passed your lives after the way of this world, under the sway of the Prince of the Powers of the Air, the spirit who is now working among the sons of disobedience.
