The nations will walk by its light; the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. Its gates will never be closed by day -- for there will be no night there -- and they will bring the splendor and honor of the nations into it.
Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and loud voices were heard in heaven, saying, "The sovereignty of the world has come into the possession of our Lord and His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever."
I have told you these things, that you through union with me may have peace. In the world you have trouble, but be courageous! I have conquered the world."
The kings of the earth, the great men, the military leaders, the rich, the mighty -- everybody, whether slaves or free hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they said to the mountains and the rocks: "Fall on us and conceal us from the sight of Him who is seated on the throne, and from the anger of the Lamb, because the great day of their anger has come, and who can stand it?"
To him who conquers and continues to the very end to do the works that please me, I will give authority over the heathen; he will govern them with a scepter of iron and shatter them like earthen jars -- just such authority as I have received from my Father --
And why should I continue to mention more? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets, who by their faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, received new promises, shut the mouths of lions,
for every child of God continues to conquer the world. Our faith is the victory that has conquered the world.
Again the devil took him up on a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and their splendor, and said to Him, "Every bit of this I will give to you, if you will fall on your knees and worship me." Then Jesus said to him, "Be gone, Satan! For the Scripture says, 'You must worship the Lord your God, and serve Him alone.'"
Then he took Him up and in a second of time he showed Him all the kingdoms of the world. And the devil said to Him, "I will give you all this power and all their splendor, for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to anyone I please. So if you will worship before me just once, it shall all be yours."read more.
But Jesus answered him, "The Scripture says, 'You must worship the Lord your God, and serve Him alone.'"
You too were dead because of the shortcomings and sins in which you once lived in accordance with the spirit of this present world, and the mighty prince of the air, who is always at work in the disobedient, among whom all of us, we Jews as well as you heathen,
Now if Satan is driving out Satan, he has become disunited; how then can his kingdom last?
And if Satan is really disunited, how can his kingdom last? Yet you say that I am driving the demons out with Beelzebub's help.
