And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not; for who can stretch forth his hand against Jehovah's anointed, and be guiltless? And David said, As Jehovah liveth, Jehovah will surely smite him; either his day shall come to die, or he shall descend into battle and perish. And he came to an agreement to do it, and sought an opportunity to deliver him up to them away from the crowd.
I will therefore that the younger marry, bear children, rule the house, give no occasion to the adversary in respect of reproach.
