23 Bible Verses about People Consuming Blood

But you shall not eat of flesh with the life in it, or the blood of it.

It shall be a statute forever for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that you eat neither fat nor blood.

And any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that are staying among you, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood. And I have given it to you on the altar to make an atonement for your souls. For it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that is staying among you eat blood.

For it is the life of all flesh. Its blood is for the life of it. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, You shall not eat the blood of any flesh. For the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.

You shall not eat anything with the blood. You shall not divine, nor conjure spirits.

Only you shall not eat the blood. You shall pour it on the earth like water.

Only be sure that you do not eat the blood. For the blood is the life. And you may not eat the life with the flesh.

You shall not eat it, so that it may go well with you and with your sons after you, when you shall do what is right in the sight of Jehovah.

Whoever partakes of My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Then Jesus says to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you do not have life in yourselves.

For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.

He who partakes of My flesh and drinks My blood dwells in Me, and I in him.
