The night is far spent, the day is at hand; therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in carousings and drinking; not in co-habitation and lustful acts; not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not take thought beforehand for the lusts of the flesh.

Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness (which is idolatry), on account of which things' sake the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience,

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies;

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

these are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.

All these evil things pass out from inside and defile the man.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body.

Do not defile yourselves in any of these things. For in all these the nations are defiled, which I cast out before you. And the land is defiled. Therefore I visit its wickedness on it, and the land itself vomits out those who live in it.

But if a man finds an engaged girl in the field, and the man forces her and lies with her, then only the man that lay with her shall die. But you shall do nothing to the girl. No sin worthy of death is in the girl; for as when a man rises against his neighbor and slays him, even so is this matter.
