For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor.

Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

For you are our glory and joy.

For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

For our more respectable parts have no need: but God has arranged the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked:

And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our less respectable parts have greater respect.

It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.
