And he would not permit it, but said to him, "Go home to your own people, and tell them all the Lord has done for you and how he took pity on you."

though I once used to abuse, persecute, and insult him. But he had mercy on me, because I had acted in ignorance and unbelief,

So let us come with courage to God's throne of grace to receive his forgiveness and find him responsive when we need his help.
