You are still acting arrogantly against My people by not letting them go.

How can you believe? While accepting glory from one another, you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God.

No one takes this honor on himself; instead, a person is called by God, just as Aaron was.
Don’t brag about yourself before the king,
and don’t stand in the place of the great;
That is why I didn’t even consider myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be cured.
So whenever you give to the poor, don’t sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be applauded by people. I assure you: They’ve got their reward!
