Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Indeed, we groan while we are in this tent, burdened as we are, because we do not want to be unclothed but clothed, so that mortality may be swallowed up by life. And the One who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment.

eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality;

For they cannot die anymore, because they are like angels and are sons of God, since they are sons of the resurrection.

So it is with the resurrection of the dead:

Sown in corruption, raised in incorruption;
sown in dishonor, raised in glory;
sown in weakness, raised in power;

Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord.

Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. then the saying that is written will take place:
Death has been swallowed up in victory.
