He also said to the multitudes, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, "A shower is coming'; and so it happens. And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, 'There will be hot weather'; and there is. You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky; but how is it you do not know how to interpret this present time?
Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was very glad, for he had desired to see him for a long time, because he had heard about him, and he hoped to see some miracle done by him.
So they said to him, "What sign will you perform then, that we may see it and believe you? What work will you do?
