Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of service, but the same Lord. There are varieties of working, but the same God who works all of them in all men.

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, let us use it in our serving; he who teaches, in his teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

I wish that all men were as I myself am. But each man has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that. But I say to the unmarried and to the widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.read more.
To the married I give charge, not I but the Lord, that the wife should not separate from her husband (but if she does leave, she must remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband should not divorce his wife. But to the rest I say, not the Lord, that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he must not divorce her. If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified through her husband. Otherwise, your children would be unclean, but as it is they are holy. But if the unbelieving partner leaves, let him do so; in such a case the brother or sister is not bound. For God has called us to peace. For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife? Only, let each one lead the life which the Lord has assigned to him, and in which God has called him. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.

To one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the working of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another distinguishing between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.read more.
But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as he wills.

And he gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,

while God also bore witness, by signs and wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his own will.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of God's varied grace. Whoever speaks is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belongs the glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
