13 Bible Verses about Spiritual Immaturity

And I, brethren, have not been able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly; as to babes in Christ.

Concerning whom we have much to say, and hard to be interpreted in speaking of it, since ye are become dull in hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have again need that one should teach you what are the elements of the beginning of the oracles of God, and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food. For every one that partakes of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe;read more.
but solid food belongs to full-grown men, who, on account of habit, have their senses exercised for distinguishing both good and evil.

I have given you milk to drink, not meat, for ye have not yet been able, nor indeed are ye yet able;

Brethren, be not children in your minds, but in malice be babes; but in your minds be grown men.

Now I say, As long as the heir is a child, he differs nothing from a bondman, though he be lord of all;

but he is under guardians and stewards until the period fixed by the father.

So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the principles of the world;

in order that we may be no longer babes, tossed and carried about by every wind of that teaching which is in the sleight of men, in unprincipled cunning with a view to systematized error;
