"Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign when these things will be put into effect?"
Even some tax collectors came to be baptized. They asked him, "Teacher, what should we do?"
Then they asked him, "What must we do to perform God's works?"
You take no delight in sacrifices and offerings you have prepared my ears to listen you require no burnt offerings or sacrifices for sin.
The mind of a discerning person gains knowledge, while the ears of wise people seek out knowledge.
Like a gold earring and a necklace of pure gold is a wise reprover to a listening ear.
Likewise, keep practicing these things: what you have learned, received, heard, and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you.
