For our momentary light affliction is producing in us an eternal weight of glory {beyond all measure and proportion},
For [there is] a moment in his anger; [there is] a lifetime in his favor. Weeping lodges for the evening, but in the morning [comes] rejoicing.

Because of this, I endure all [things] for the sake of the chosen, in order that they also may obtain salvation [which is] in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
But I will spend and be expended most gladly for your lives. If I love you much more, am I to be loved less?
For I consider that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy [to be compared] with the glory that is about to be revealed to us.
