8 Bible Verses about The Finality Of Death

As the cloud is consumed and vanishes away, so he who goes down to Sheol shall come up no more.

[Being] dead, they shall not live. [Being] deceased, they shall not rise. Therefore thou have visited and destroyed them, and made all remembrance of them to perish.

so man lays down and does not rise. Till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be roused out of their sleep.

For when a few years are come, I shall go the way where I shall not return.

If a man dies, shall he live [again]? All the days of my warfare I would wait till my release should come.

And having cried out, and having convulsed him much, it came out. And he became as if dead, so as for many to said that he was dead.
