Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.
and put on the new man, that after God hath been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye: and above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and'so'shall ye be my disciples.
For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith.
Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition, having abolished in the flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man,'so making peace; and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Whosoever is begotten of God doeth no sin, because his seed abideth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is begotten of God.
And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;
that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;
strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
