And Jesus said to them, "Verily I say to you, that ye who followed Me, in the regeneration, when the Son of Man shall sit upon the throne of His glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

And, having called to Him His twelve disciples, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, so as to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the tax-collector; James the son of Alpaeus, and Thaddeus;read more.

Then they returned to Jerusalem from a mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a sabbath day's journey. And, praying, they said, "Thou, Lord, Who knowest the hearts of all men, show which of these two Thou didst choose, to take the place of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place."
