"That's why I'm telling you to stop worrying about your life what you will eat or what you will drink or about your body what you will wear. Life is more than food, isn't it, and the body more than clothing?

"So don't ever worry by saying, "What are we going to eat?' or "What are we going to drink?' or "What are we going to wear?'

Can any of you add a single hour to the length of your life by worrying?

"But I tell you, my friends, never be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can't do anything more.

When they hand you over, don't worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say, because in that hour what you are to say will be given to you.

"Have courage!" Jesus immediately told them. "It's me. Stop being afraid!"

Fearing any human being is a trap, but confiding in the LORD keeps anyone safe.
