You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends, and they will put some of you to death.

Then he told the man who had invited him, "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, stop inviting only your friends, brothers, relatives, or rich neighbors. Otherwise, they may invite you in return and you would be repaid.
And if you greet only your relatives, that's no great thing you're doing, is it? Even the unbelievers do the same, don't they?
Still another man said, "I will follow you, Lord, but first let me say goodbye to those at home."
The righteous person is cautious with respect to his neighbor, but the lifestyle of the wicked leads them astray.
"Beware of your neighbors, and don't trust any of your relatives. For all of your relatives act deceitfully, and every friend goes around as a slanderer.
Jesus told them, "I tell all of you with certainty, there is no one who has left his home, wife, brothers, parents, or children because of the kingdom of God
Don't trust your friends, don't confide in a companion, watch what you say to your wife.
