Genesis 25:21-26

Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife, because she was unable to conceive children; and the Lord granted his prayer and Rebekah his wife conceived [twins]. Afterward his brother who had the scarlet [thread] on his hand was born and was named Zerah (brightness).

Romans 9:10-16
