The LORD has opened his armory, and has brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;)

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. Therefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.read more.
Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
