And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Moreover they required no accounting with the men, into whose hand they delivered the money to be paid to the workmen: for they dealt faithfully.
However there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.
Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from which also he received him in a figure.
And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of you? give an account of your stewardship; for you may be no longer steward.
Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
And when he had begun the reckoning, one was brought unto him, who owed him ten thousand talents.
Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, who would take account of his servants.
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may be recompensed for the things done in his body, according to what he has done, whether it be good or bad.
So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owe you unto my lord?
And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubilee, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.
Esteeming the reproach of the Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he looked for the recompense of the reward.
And Reuben answered them, saying, Spoke I not unto you, saying, Do not sin against the child; and you would not hear? therefore, behold, also his blood is required.
But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sits not down first, and counts the cost, whether he has enough to finish it?
And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, who had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Your heart shall meditate the terror. Where is the scribe? where is the one who weighs? where is he that counts the towers?
As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
