For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen.
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

And now, O Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.
And, you, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands: They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall grow old as does a garment; And as a mantle shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail.

As he says also in another place, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
The LORD has sworn, and will not relent, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
But this man, because he continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hades and of death.
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

LORD, make me to know my end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. Behold, you have made my days as a handbreadth; and my age is as nothing before you: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
