'Couch' in the Bible

“Uncontrolled as water, you shall not have preeminence,Because you went up to your father’s bed;Then you defiled it—he went up to my couch.

Now when the king returned from the palace garden into the place where they were drinking wine, Haman was falling on the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he even assault the queen with me in the house?” As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

“If I say, ‘My bed will comfort me,My couch will ease my complaint,’

I am weary with my sighing;Every night I make my bed swim,I dissolve my couch with my tears.

“I have spread my couch with coverings,With colored linens of Egypt.

“How handsome you are, my beloved,And so pleasant!Indeed, our couch is luxuriant!

“Behold, it is the traveling couch of Solomon;Sixty mighty men around it,Of the mighty men of Israel.

and you sat on a splendid couch with a table arranged before it on which you had set My incense and My oil.

Thus says the Lord,“Just as the shepherd snatches from the lion’s mouth a couple of legs or a piece of an ear,So will the sons of Israel dwelling in Samaria be snatched away—With the corner of a bed and the cover of a couch!
