'Enemies' in the Bible

But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household.

‘The Lord said to my Lord,“Sit at My right hand,Until I put Your enemies beneath Your feet”’?

David himself said in the Holy Spirit,‘The Lord said to my Lord,“Sit at My right hand,Until I put Your enemies beneath Your feet.”’

Salvation from our enemies,And from the hand of all who hate us;

To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies,Might serve Him without fear,

“But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers;

For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.

For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ,

But to which of the angels has He ever said,“Sit at My right hand,Until I make Your enemiesA footstool for Your feet”?

waiting from that time onward until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet.

And if anyone wants to harm them, fire flows out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way.
