'Gnaw' in the Bible
God brought him out of Egypt; He is like the horns of a wild ox for them. He will feed on enemy nations and gnaw their bones; he will strike [them] with his arrows.
"From want and famine they are gaunt Who gnaw the dry ground by night in waste and desolation,
In the night season my bones are pierced in me, And the pains that gnaw me take no rest.
Wild boars of the forest gnaw at it, and creatures of the field feed on it.
And thou hast drunk it, and hast drained it, And its earthen ware thou dost gnaw, And thine own breasts thou pluckest off, For I have spoken, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah,
