'Hear' in the Bible

let Your ear now be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You now, day and night, on behalf of the sons of Israel Your servants, confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have sinned against You; I and my father’s house have sinned.

Hear, O our God, how we are despised! Return their reproach on their own heads and give them up for plunder in a land of captivity.

At whatever place you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.”

“You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt,And heard their cry by the Red Sea.

“Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their oppressors who oppressed them,But when they cried to You in the time of their distress,You heard from heaven, and according to Your great compassionYou gave them deliverers who delivered them from the hand of their oppressors.

“But as soon as they had rest, they did evil again before You;Therefore You abandoned them to the hand of their enemies, so that they ruled over them.When they cried again to You, You heard from heaven,And many times You rescued them according to Your compassion,

Do we then hear about you that you have committed all this great evil by acting unfaithfully against our God by marrying foreign women?”
