They helped David against raiders, since they were all warriors and commanders in the army.

Let a cry be heard from their houseswhen You suddenly bring raiders against them,for they have dug a pit to capture meand have hidden snares for my feet.

And as raiders wait for a man,So a band of priests murder on the way to Shechem;Surely they have committed crime.
