'Right' in the Bible

Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me; if to the left, then I will go to the right; or if to the right, then I will go to the left.”

Moses said, “You are right; I shall never see your face again!”

The sons of Israel went through the midst of the sea on the dry land, and the waters were like a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal state at daybreak, while the Egyptians were fleeing right into it; then the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

You shall give the right thigh to the priest as a contribution from the sacrifices of your peace offerings.

The one among the sons of Aaron who offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat, the right thigh shall be his as his portion.

The priest shall then put some of the oil that is in his palm on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the guilt offering.

‘Likewise, if a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then his redemption right remains valid until a full year from its sale; his right of redemption lasts a full year.

As for cities of the Levites, the Levites have a permanent right of redemption for the houses of the cities which are their possession.

then he shall have redemption right after he has been sold. One of his brothers may redeem him,

Their meat shall be yours; it shall be yours like the breast of a wave offering and like the right thigh.

if you will listen to the voice of the Lord your God, keeping all His commandments which I am commanding you today, and doing what is right in the sight of the Lord your God.

According to the terms of the law which they teach you, and according to the verdict which they tell you, you shall do; you shall not turn aside from the word which they declare to you, to the right or the left.

The sons of Israel did things secretly which were not right against the Lord their God. Moreover, they built for themselves high places in all their towns, from watchtower to fortified city.

He did right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father David had done.

He did right in the sight of the Lord and walked in all the way of his father David, nor did he turn aside to the right or to the left.

The high places which were before Jerusalem, which were on the right of the mount of destruction which Solomon the king of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Sidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Milcom the abomination of the sons of Ammon, the king defiled.

They were equipped with bows, using both the right hand and the left to sling stones and to shoot arrows from the bow; they were Saul’s kinsmen from Benjamin.
