'Silver' in the Bible

The words of the Lord are pure words;As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times.

For You have tried us, O God;You have refined us as silver is refined.

When you lie down among the sheepfolds,You are like the wings of a dove covered with silver,And its pinions with glistening gold.

Rebuke the beasts in the reeds,The herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples,Trampling under foot the pieces of silver;He has scattered the peoples who delight in war.

Then He brought them out with silver and gold,And among His tribes there was not one who stumbled.

Their idols are silver and gold,The work of man’s hands.

The law of Your mouth is better to meThan thousands of gold and silver pieces.

The idols of the nations are but silver and gold,The work of man’s hands.
