'Slander' in the Bible
He does not slander with his tongue,Nor does evil to his neighbor,Nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
For I have heard the slander of many,Terror is on every side;While they took counsel together against me,They schemed to take away my life.
“You sit and speak against your brother;You slander your own mother’s son.
He who conceals hatred has lying lips,And he who spreads slander is a fool.
Do not slander a slave to his master,Or he will curse you and you will be found guilty.
As for a rogue, his weapons are evil;He devises wicked schemesTo destroy the afflicted with slander,Even though the needy one speaks what is right.
