'Spread' in the Bible

But let all who take shelter in you rejoice. Let them ever sing for joy, {because} you spread protection over them; And let those [who] love your name exult in you.

You [with] your hand drove out the nations, but them you planted. You harmed [the] peoples, but them you let spread out.

If we had forgotten the name of our God, or had spread out our hands [in prayer] to a foreign god,

It spread its branches to [the] sea and its shoots to [the] river.

My eye languishes from misery. I call on you, O Yahweh, every day; I spread out my hands to you.

He spread out a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light at night.

To [him who] spread out the earth above the waters, for his loyal love [endures] forever.

[The] proud have hidden a trap for me, and cords. They have spread out a net along [the] {side} of [the] path. They have set snares for me. Selah
