26 Also, the Levites no longer need to carry the tabernacle or any of the equipment for its service”(O)

27 For by the last words of David the sons of Levi were numbered from twenty years old and upward.

27 For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and above:

27 for according to the last words of David, the Levites 20 years old or more were to be counted—

27 Since, according to David's final instructions, the list above contains the total number of descendants of Levi from the age of 20 years and upward,

27 For by the last words of David, the Levites from twenty years old and above were counted.

28 For their office is (n)to assist the sons of Aaron with the service of the house of the Lord, in the courts and in the chambers and in the purifying of all holy things, even the work of the service of the house of God,

28 Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;

28 “but their duty will be to assist the sons of Aaron with the service of the Lord’s temple, being responsible for the courts and the chambers, the purification of all the holy things, and the work of the service of God’s temple—

28 David issued these orders:

28 For their duty is to assist [the priests] the sons of Aaron in the service of the house of the Lord, in [caring for] the courtyards, the chambers, the purifying of all holy things, and any work of the service of the house of God,

29 (Q)and with the showbread, and (R)the fine flour for a grain offering, and unleavened wafers, or (S)what is baked in the pan or (T)what is well-mixed, and (U)all measures of volume and size.

29 Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;

29 as well as the rows of the bread of the Presence,(P) the fine flour for the grain offering,(Q) the wafers of unleavened bread, the baking,(c)(R) the mixing,(S) and all measurements of volume and length.(T)

29 "Instead, they are to assist by lending a hand to the descendants of Aaron regarding service to the Temple of the LORD relating to the courts, the chambers, purification of everything pertaining to holiness, and to anything else pertaining to service on behalf of the Temple of God, including assisting with the rows of showbread, selecting flour for the grain offerings, the unleavened bread, baked offerings, and oil-based offerings, no matter what the quantity or sizes.

29 and with the showbread, and the fine flour for a grain offering, and unleavened wafers, or what is baked in the pan or what is well-mixed, and all measures of volume and size [as the Law of Moses required].

30 They are to stand every morning to thank and to praise the Lord, and likewise at evening,

30 And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even;

30 They are also to stand every morning to give thanks and praise to the Lord, and likewise in the evening.

30 They are to take their stand morning by morning, thanking and praising the LORD right through until the evening,

30 They are to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord, and likewise at evening,

31 and to offer all burnt offerings to the Lord, (V)on the sabbaths, the new moons and (W)the fixed festivals in the number set by the ordinance concerning them, continually before the Lord.

31 And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD:

31 Whenever burnt offerings are offered to the Lord on the Sabbaths, New Moons,(U) and appointed festivals, they are to do so regularly in the Lord’s presence according to the number prescribed for them.(V)

31 whenever burnt offerings are presented to the LORD, whether on Sabbaths, New Moons, or scheduled festivals, regularly in the LORD's presence in accordance with the number required to conduct their service.

31 and to offer all burnt sacrifices to the Lord on the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the festivals by number according to the ordinance concerning them, continually before the Lord.

32 Thus (X)they are to keep charge of the tent of meeting, and charge of the holy place, and (Y)charge of the sons of Aaron their (o)relatives, for the service of the house of the Lord.

32 And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.

32 They are to carry out their responsibilities for the tent of meeting, for the holy place,(W) and for their relatives, the sons of Aaron,(X) in the service of the Lord’s temple.”

32 By doing this, they will fulfill their obligation as trustees over the Tent of Assembly and the Sanctuary, attending to the needs of their relatives, who are descendants of Aaron, in keeping with their service on behalf of the Temple of the LORD."

32 So they shall be responsible for the Tent of Meeting, the Holy Place, and the sons of Aaron their relatives, for the service of the house of the Lord.
