Obed Edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark. 25 So it was David, with the elders of Israel and the captains over thousands, who went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the house of Obed-edom with joy. 26 Because God helped the Levites who carried the Ark of the Jehovah's Covenant, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.
