The sons of Hezron that were born him: Jerahmeel, Ram and Chelubai.

Hezron begat Ram, Ram begat Amminadab,

The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Meshah his eldest son, which was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

Judah begat Perez and Zerah of Tamar; Perez begat Hezron; Hezron begat Ram;

And Caleb the son of Hezron begat Azubah, a woman, and Jerioth whose sons are these: Jesher, Shobab and Ardon.

And after the death of Hezron at Calebephrata, Abia his wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.

And he came into all the coasts about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins,
