The descendants of Gershom: Shubael was the first.

Shubael, a descendant of Gershom son of Moses, was the officer in charge of the treasuries.

The following men were leaders for Levi's descendants from Kohath: Jehdeiah for Amram's descendants through Shubael,

for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his relatives, twelve;
