Know thou

And ye have not known Him, but I know Him; and, if I should say, I know Him not, I shall be a liar like you. But I know Him, and I keep His word.

And this is the eternal life, that they know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ Whom Thou didst send.

for, passing through, and considering your objects of worship, I found also an altar on which had been inscribed, TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. What, therefore, in ignorance ye worship, this I declare to you.

Serve him

Wherefore, receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear;

A willing mind

for, if the readiness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he has not.

Let each one do as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver.

feed the flock of God which is among you, overseeing it, not by constraint, but willingly; nor yet for base gain, but of a ready mind;

If thou seek

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you;

Draw nigh to God, and He wild draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.

If thou forsake

"But My righteous one shall live by faith, and, if he draw back, My soul has no pleasure in him."
