Then David commanded the people: Praise Jehovah your God! The entire assembly praised Jehovah, the God of their ancestors. They bowed low and gave honor to Jehovah and also to the king.

The people believed them. When they heard that Jehovah was concerned about the people of Israel and that he had seen their misery, they knelt, bowed low and worshiped.

The man knelt down and worshiped Jehovah.

I bowed low and worshiped Jehovah, and praised Jehovah, the God of my master Abraham. He guided me in the right way to take the daughter of my master's kinsman for his son.

The Israelites saw the great power with which Jehovah had defeated the Egyptians. So they stood in awe of Jehovah. They had faith in Jehovah and in his servant Moses.

The Israelites were satisfied and praised God. They no longer talked about going to war to devastate the land where the people of Reuben and Gad had settled.

Samuel prayed. That same day Jehovah sent thunder and rain. Then all the people became afraid of Jehovah and of Samuel.

Thanks be to Jehovah, God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Then all the people said amen and praised Jehovah.

After consulting with the people, the king ordered some musicians to put on the robes they wore on sacred occasions and to march ahead of the army. They sang: 'Praise Jehovah! His love is eternal!'

([Psalm of David]) Give to Jehovah, you sons of the mighty ones. Give to Jehovah glory and power.

Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Jehovah our maker.

Lift up your hands in holiness and bless Jehovah.

Bless Jehovah, O house of Israel; bless Jehovah, O house of Aaron;

([Psalm of David]) I will praise you, my God and King! I will consecrate your name forever and ever.

Let them praise the name of Jehovah because his name is high above all others. His glory is above heaven and earth.

My son, respect Jehovah and the king. Do not associate with those who want to change things.

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Reverence and respect God. Honor the king.
