This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His commands.

All this happened
so that they might keep His statutes
and obey His instructions.
Hallelujah!

How happy are those who uphold justice,
who practice righteousness at all times.

Happy are those who keep His decrees
and seek Him with all their heart.

“And now, my sons, listen to me;
those who keep my ways are happy.

A discerning son keeps the law,
but a companion of gluttons humiliates his father.

The one who keeps a command will not experience anything harmful, and a wise heart knows the right time and procedure.

I will place My Spirit within you and cause you to follow My statutes and carefully observe My ordinances.

He said, “Even more, those who hear the word of God and keep it are blessed!”

The one who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. And the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father. I also will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”

So the dragon was furious with the woman and left to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and have the testimony about Jesus.

This demands the perseverance of the saints, who keep God’s commands and their faith in Jesus.”

If we love one another, God remains in us and His love is perfected in us.

You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was perfected.
