So now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears we may have boldness and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.

Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him because we will see Him as He is.

The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” yet doesn"t keep His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

We know that everyone who has been born of God does not sin, but the One who is born of God keeps him,

and the evil one does not touch him.

We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at

the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.

For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.
