Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

And every one that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have observed the ways of the violent.

Wicked

I write unto you, fathers, that ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, that ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, that ye have known the Father.

Not as Cain, who was of the wicked one and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
