Then David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said to them, As Jehovah liveth, who has redeemed my soul out of all distress,

Many are the adversities of the righteous, but Jehovah delivereth him out of them all:

He will redeem their souls from oppression and violence, and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

And hath delivered us from our oppressors, for his loving-kindness endureth for ever:

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the anger of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
