Solomon Confirmed King

³⁵ Follow him back here when he comes to sit on my throne. He will succeed me as king. He is the one I have chosen to be the ruler over Israel and Judah. ³⁶ Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king and said, “Amen! Thus may the Lord, the God of my lord the king, say. ³⁷ Jehovah has been with Your Majesty. May he also be with Solomon and make his reign even more prosperous than yours.
