A Man Of God Proclaims Judgment Against The False Altar

⁷ And the king said to the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward. ⁸ And the man of God said to the king, If thou will give me half thy house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place; ⁹ for so it was charged me by the word of LORD, saying, Thou shall eat no bread, nor drink water, neither return by the way that thou came.
