1 Kings 21:21

Jehovah says to you: I will bring disaster on you. I will do away with you and get rid of every male in your family, young and old alike.

1 Kings 14:10

I will bring disaster on the house of Jeroboam. I will kill all your male descendants, young and old alike. I will get rid of your family. They will be swept away like dung.

Do not worship them or serve them. I, Jehovah your God, am a God demanding exclusive devotion. (I do not tolerate rivals.) I will not share your affection with any other god. I punish children for their parents' sins to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.
