Then David gave to Solomon, his son, the pattern of the porch and of its houses and of its treasuries and of its upper chambers and of its inner parlours and of the place of the seat of reconciliation,

Now these are the measurements on which Solomon founded the building of the house of God. The first measurement was the length of sixty cubits and the breadth of twenty cubits.

And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and its chambers on the one side and on the other side, one hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the portals of the court.

Then the devil took him up into the holy city and set him on a pinnacle of the temple

And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.

and they knew that it was he who sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
