² And all the men of Israel came together to King Solomon at the feast, in the month Ethanim, the seventh month. ³ And all the responsible men of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark. ⁴ They took up the ark of the Lord, and the Tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels which were in the Tent; all these the priests and the Levites took up.

Deuteronomy 31:9

Then Moses put all this law in writing, and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who take up the ark of the Lord's agreement, and to all the responsible men of Israel.
